Calisthenic Exercises
Day 2 of the program,
and today's activity included simple calisthenic exercises..
exercises that do not require any equipments,
exercises that do utilises the body's weight as resistance..
it was a simple plan:
arm and shoulder,
trunk and legs..
1. Push Ups
2. Crunches
3. Lunges
4. Side Shoulder Raises
5. Alternate knee Lifts
6. Squats
7. Curls and Press
8. Hamstring Kick-backs
9. Heel Raises
10. Chest Pass (with Volleyball)
11. Overhead Triceps Extension (with Volleyball)
12. Side Steps with Squats
these 12 exercises wrapped up the 1 hour of training,
basically still at its beginning stage..
at this point in time,
the key is to progress as slowly as possible,
getting the participants to move away from a sedentary lifestyle,
and start moving about..

Fitness Testing
The very first session of our "FREE"
Weight loss Training was held today at 1000hrs, bishan stadium.
In general, people love to see progress
and will generally be more motivated when results do happen,
hence we decided that the very first session
will be for the identification of the client's cardio-vascular fitness level.
We conducted the Fitness Testing in the form of the Rockport Walking Test,
where the participants will walk for a mile.
It took no more than 30min to complete the test.
Bear in mind that the objective of the program is primarily weight loss and general fitness, as such other fitness components like flexibility, strength and agility ect. are not included in the fitness testing.

Successful Run Clinic
The Run Clinic had been a successful one,
with enthusiastic individuals,
levelling-up their knowledge to the various aspects of fitness...
we hope that the learning climate had been set,
and the individuals will continue to develop keen interest in fitness,
and collectively become better!!
